-- Description: There are a few large-angle features of the CMB temperature map have attracted attention as being statistically unlikely in LCDM. I'll discuss two projects I've worked on which are relevant to the discussions of these features: assessing how reliably we can reconstruct the Integrated Sachs-Wolfe signal using galaxy survey maps, and quantifying covariances between various anomalous features.
